{"id":86,"date":"2012-09-10T10:11:55","date_gmt":"2012-09-10T16:11:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newstayathomemom.com\/?p=86"},"modified":"2012-09-10T10:11:55","modified_gmt":"2012-09-10T16:11:55","slug":"monday-monday-dah-dah-du-du-dah-dah-du-daaah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newstayathomemom.com\/?p=86","title":{"rendered":"Monday, Monday (dah dah du du dah dah du daaah)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I met a friend last week for coffee.\u00a0 She&#8217;s a stay at home mom who used to be (still is &#8211; duh) a Child Psychologist.\u00a0\u00a0I mean, come on!\u00a0 This woman has her PhD!!!\u00a0 So I thought for\u00a0sure\u00a0she\u00a0knows what to do with her time while the kids are in school.<\/p>\n<p>I asked her to give me some suggestions for\u00a0what I should be doing during the day.\u00a0 Specifically, I asked her what <em>she<\/em> had done the day before.\u00a0 Her reply was, &#8220;you know all those shopping bags you keep but never\u00a0use?\u00a0 Well I organized them and then put them back under the sink in the laundry room.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ta da!!!\u00a0\u00a0Like magic our day is done.\u00a0And we can\u00a0account for our time by all of the small accomplishments trailing behind us.<\/p>\n<p>When I arrived home later that day, I found she had texted me with the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>How to fill your day idea number 97: get a puppy!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To which I replied:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Oooh, yes!\u00a0 Excellent suggestion.\u00a0 And here&#8217;s idea number 98: get a massive hole in my head.\u00a0 I need <em>that<\/em> about as much as I need a new puppy!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But I have started researching new puppies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I met a friend last week for coffee.\u00a0 She&#8217;s a stay at home mom who used to be (still is &#8211; duh) a Child Psychologist.\u00a0\u00a0I mean, come on!\u00a0 This woman has her PhD!!!\u00a0 So I thought for\u00a0sure\u00a0she\u00a0knows what to do with her time while the kids are in school.
