The joy and hope of the season is gone.\u00a0 And in its place is drudgery and annoyance.<\/p>\n
Speaking of which –\u00a0is there anything more annoying than those fragile ornaments that require special handling and\u00a0have their own boxes into which they have to be placed vewy, vewy carefewy?!<\/p>\n
Total PIMA*!\u00a0 (PIMA, yes.\u00a0 But yet\u00a0not quite<\/em> as PIMA\u00a0as dealing with the unemployment office or the\u00a0prescription portion of my husband’s health insurance.)<\/p>\n Also,\u00a0just a word-to-the-wise: when disassembling the Christmas tree, don’t save those fragile ornaments “for last.”\u00a0 Take ’em down first.\u00a0 Otherwise you’ll find yourself blogging while your husband is in the other room gluing the bottom to a porcelain ornament you\u00a0received too many eons ago to remember where you\u00a0got it from\u00a0(it’s\u00a0topped with rosebud decorations that look like frosting on a wedding cake overlaid with\u00a0superfine gold glitter which I’m sure will be all over Hubby’s\u00a0face when next I visit doctor and\u00a0patient in\u00a0post-op).<\/p>\n And no!\u00a0 I haven’t started Ptotally horrible 90-Xcruciating!\u00a0 (That’s P90X to the uninitiated.)\u00a0 Thanks for bringing it up.<\/p>\n Now I’m REALLY\u00a0annoyed!!<\/p>\n *If you’re my mother, PIMA stands for P<\/span>ain I<\/span>n M<\/span>y A<\/span>ttitude.\u00a0 Hi Mom!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Is there anything more anticlimactic than taking down the Christmas Tree?!?
