My daughter is doing a segment on poetry in English class (as my son says – ENGLISH class?!?\u00a0 But she already knows how to speak English!!!).\u00a0 One of the types of poetry they are studying is the Haiku.\u00a0 For those who are too far away from 5th grade English class to remember what a Haiku is (or who don’t speak English) –\u00a0 a Haiku is comprised of three lines:\u00a0the first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables and the third line has 5 syllables.<\/p>\n
In honor of our recent travels to\u00a0Haiku-town, I wanted to give you a de-brief of the Cubscout Caroling Clusterbomb 2012 in Haiku form:<\/p>\n
Scouts subside, chimps rise<\/p>\n
Not caroling now, ever…<\/p>\n
Instead\u00a0ape-boy yopps<\/p>\n
Hey – and you know what else is totally, TOTALLY like a\u00a0Cubscout meeting?\u00a0 A wrestling match (only it\u00a0smells slightly worse than a scout meeting)<\/p>\n
It’s got the same run-by-men,\u00a0chaotic, wandering-around-because-no-one-knows-where-they’re-supposed-to-be-or-what-they’re-supposed-to-be-doing sort of\u00a0 vibe to it.\u00a0 So in honor of THAT – I’ve written another Haiku.<\/p>\n
No direction, none.<\/p>\n
Cluster bomb of massive size.<\/p>\n
