Hey \u2013 I’ve got an idea!\u00a0 Let\u2019s review what everyone got for Valentine\u2019s Day\u2026<\/p>\n

Ok, well really this is only going to be a review of what I<\/span> got for Valentine\u2019s Day.\u00a0 Just wanted to level-set.\u00a0 If you want to review your stuff, get your own blog.<\/em><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s see\u2026<\/p>\n

There was the dozen hot pink roses from Hubby, actually put in a vase of water, and waiting on the kitchen table along with a card when I came down that morning.<\/p>\n

Then there was the championship\u00a0basketball game that Sissy gave\u00a0me.\u00a0 Listen, I\u2019ve thought a lot about <\/em>the technical foul called against<\/em><\/a> me during the last game and I\u2019ve concluded it was the result of me wearing the wrong shoes on the court.\u00a0 So for the big Valentine\u2019s Day championship game, I switched it up and wore something more appropriate.\u00a0 Then, when I spotted coach that evening, I told him I was wearing the right shoes and to put me in!\u00a0 Hahahahahaha.\u00a0 Then I laughed maniacally like that which caused coach to back up slowly.\u00a0 No matter.\u00a0 We won!\u00a0 This was most likely because I was wearing a thematic red scarf\u00a0AND the right shoes.\u00a0 AND because I\u2019m funny.\u00a0 AND because the girls played their hearts out.\u00a0 It was Valentine\u2019s Day afterall so the heart thing tied in nicely. <\/em><\/p>\n

Finally, there was the gift from Sonny I\u2019ve come to call: The Ninja Deathstar of Love.<\/p>\n

\"Ninja<\/a>Show of hands, who else got a Ninja Deathstar of Love?!?\u00a0 Come on!\u00a0 I know you\u2019re out there.\u00a0 By all accounts, Sonny led SEVERAL boys in the making of these.\u00a0 During school.\u00a0 To the exclusion of actual classwork where Sonny could have learned spelling and such.<\/p>\n

But pay that no never mind because this thing is an engineering marvel!\u00a0\u00a0With a few tugs in all the right places, it transforms from Ninja Deathstar of Love to Ninja Octagon of Love, complete with heartfelt messages on each of the eight sides.\u00a0 \"Ninja<\/a>Things like: \u201cWith a great mom comes a great kid,\u201d (not to put too fine a point on things) and \u201cThank you for everything,\u201d or \u201cYour [sic] the best thing that ever happened to me.\u201d\u00a0 Why yes.\u00a0 Yes, I AM the best thing\u00a0that ever happened to you.\u00a0 And also?\u00a0\u00a0Ninja Deathstar\/Octagon protocol allows for crying during message review.\u00a0 So go ahead if you’re so inclined.\u00a0 I’ll join you.\u00a0 Waaaah!<\/em><\/p>\n

The only message that gave me pause and maybe wasn\u2019t the hugest tearjerker of the bunch<\/em> was: I\u2019ll still love you no mader [sic] how big or small.\"No<\/a><\/p>\n

Hmmmm.<\/p>\n

I might be over-interpreting things here, but does this valentine make me sound\u2026big?\u00a0 Like I\u2019m\u00a0big and bordering on house-bound??<\/p>\n

Not trying to be all judge-y or anything.\u00a0 Or trying to make YOU be all judge-y or anything.\u00a0 I’m just saying that even if I WERE big?\u00a0\u00a0I’d still be loved.\u00a0 No mader what.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
