Please see yesterday’s\u00a0blog about my housecleaning frenzy.\u00a0 During which I cleaned three bathrooms.\u00a0 The toilets are now scrubbed as clean as I wish I could scrub the vision from my mind’s eye of the recent vomir (that’s fancy French for throw-up) my son piled in one of the toilets. (my toilet btw.\u00a0 why does it have to be MINE?!\u00a0 he’s got his own<\/em> toilet for heaven’s sake!\u00a0 but my toilet has some weird homing pigeon effect on vomir.)<\/p>\n

The kids in our carpool got sick in the night too.\u00a0 Their mom\u00a0thinks it was the undercooked sausages everyone had for hot lunch at school.\u00a0 In her house, those who didn’t have the sausages, didn’t have the vomir.\u00a0\u00a0Same in mine!<\/p>\n

Hmmmm…interesting theory…<\/p>\n

but there weren’t any sausages to be seen in the pile when it came back up.\u00a0 All I saw were about 4 cupfuls (yes, cupfuls) of what I at first thought were those squishy\u00a0sliced mushrooms from the can.\u00a0\u00a0 As I’m trying to puzzle out why my son had eaten 4 cupfuls of\u00a0squishy sliced mushrooms, it occurred to me that I gave the kids mac and cheese for dinner.\u00a0 Oh!\u00a0 That’s what it was.\u00a0 But why the\u00a0odd brown\/mushroom color?\u00a0 Must have been\u00a0dyed that color by\u00a0the post-dinner oreos.<\/p>\n

See?\u00a0 You wanna scrub now too, don’t you??\u00a0 And never,\u00a0EVER eat mac-and-cheese-followed-by-oreos OR\u00a04 cupfuls of squishy-button-mushrooms-from-a-can, right??!<\/p>\n

I don’t think anyone’s going to be eating the leftover mac and cheese tonight.\u00a0 Including me.\u00a0 Some things – once seen – cannot be unseen.<\/p>\n

New dinner plan asap.\u00a0 Breakfast for dinner is always a fun twist.\u00a0 How ’bout pancakes and sausage??!?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
