Did you know that the original lyrics to the song \u201cNew York\u201d from the musical called \u201cOn the Town\u201d were:\u00a0 <\/span>New York, New York.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s a HELLUVA town!<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

But for some reason, they changed the \u201cHelluva\u201d to \u201cWonderful\u201d when they made the musical into a movie.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wimps.<\/span><\/p>\n

But, hey!<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Speakin\u2019 of New York <\/span>heh, heh, heh \u2013 see how that works? <\/span><\/em>I was in New York City recently.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>And all I can say is that New York City has the biggest hall pass of all time.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Every bizarre thing that happens there is explained away with a shrug of the shoulders, hands spread wide and, \u201cEh.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s New York City!\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hubby, don\u2019t you think it\u2019s weird that you\u2019ve finished your entire knish but my bowl of borscht hasn\u2019t even come out yet?<\/span><\/em>\u00a0 <\/span>Eh, it\u2019s New York City!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kids, of all the people on this dark sidewalk, why did that cockroach run RIGHT AT ME while your father yelled, \u201cGet her!<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Get her!\u201d<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/em>Eh, it\u2019s New York City!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
