Ok.\u00a0 We\u2019ve already clarified that I don\u2019t have a job.\u00a0 [Thanks for bringing it up! stink eye, stink eye<\/em>]\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>But I continue to look.\u00a0 Because that\u2019s what I am.\u00a0 I\u2019m a looker.\u00a0 Hee-hee-hee. <\/em>\u00a0And I found this gem-of-a-job\u00a0recently, and\u00a0I wanted to share it with you:<\/span><\/p>\n

I could TOTALLY market stuff to aliens in outerspace.\u00a0 Unless this is more of a marketing FOR aliens; as in “going to the outerspace Piggly-Wiggly\u00a0on behalf of aliens.”\u00a0 If it’s THAT sort of marketing, then no.\u00a0 I’m not up for that.\u00a0 But it’s probably not that Piggly-Wiggly version.\u00a0 So I’ll keep reading.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Manages Others:\u00a0 Unknown<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Uh.\u00a0 Shouldn’t you\u00a0know that by now?\u00a0\u00a0Especially if you\u2019re to that part where you’re POSTING\u00a0the\u00a0job??\u00a0\u00a0Maybe they should have put “Depends” instead of “Unknown.”\u00a0 Because\u00a0maybe it all depends on whether or not you can see\u00a0dead people?!\u00a0 Mwaaa haaa haaaa!\u00a0 Creep Factor 100.\u00a0 Moving on…<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Oh crap. \u00a0In my experience \u201cFreelance\u201d usually translates to \u201cSquirrely as all get-out.\u201d\u00a0 But let me see how long it lasts\u2026<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Ongoing\u2019s good.\u00a0 That means it goes on.\u00a0 For a while.\u00a0 And if I\u00a0could start immediately, then this job could go on.\u00a0 For a while.\u00a0\u00a0Speaking of which, when DOES this\u00a0job start?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Starts: Within a Couple Weeks<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Huh.\u00a0 Weird.\u00a0 Within a couple of weeks from WHEN?\u00a0 Right now?\u00a0 Can they\u00a0tell that I’m looking at the job NOW?\u00a0 How ’bout now?\u00a0 Now?!?\u00a0 Ok, stop with the silliness.\u00a0 What\u2019s it paying?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Rate: DOE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

DOE is better than DOA any day of the week, I guess.\u00a0 Unless you can SEE dead people on arrival.\u00a0 Stop it with that, already!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

So let me get this straight: This may or may not be a job that includes marketing to aliens in outerspace and it may or may not go on for some period of time.\u00a0 If this position manages anyone,\u00a0it would most likely be ghosts, but that’s unknown right now.\u00a0\u00a0The job is\u00a0starting soon (or at least in a couple of weeks from…now?\u00a0 NOW?!?) and I will get paid in DOE dollars (which are probably similar\u00a0to\u00a0Minecraft Diamonds)\u00a0for work I may or may not be doing.<\/span><\/p>\n
