Let\u2019s review: An elephant goes toot and fish go blub.\u00a0 And the fox?\u00a0 The fox says, Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringerdinge.\u00a0<\/em> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mwa-ha-ha!\u00a0 [evil laugh]\u00a0 I did that just to get that annoying song back in your head.\u00a0 Did it work?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-paw!<\/em>\u00a0 How \u2018bout now?!\u00a0 Isn\u2019t it fun the way we joke around with each other?!\u00a0 <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Anyway.\u00a0 Where I was really going with all of this is that my dog doesn\u2019t simply say, \u201cwoof!\u201d as stated in that song. <\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, he has a voice.\u00a0 Or rather, I have a voice I use for my dog.\u00a0 I have \u2013 in my head \u2013 a voice that sounds the way I think my dog would sound.\u00a0 If he could talk.\u00a0 Because really, who DOESN\u2019T think their dog can talk?\u00a0 At least secretly.\u00a0 In their head.<\/span><\/p>\n

Naw!\u00a0 That didn\u2019t sound too Son-of-Sam insane.\u00a0 In which case, I\u2019ll further admit that I actually have two voices for the dog.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I\u2019m feeling charitable towards the dog, his voice sounds something like a Leprechaun on speed, \u201cGosh and begorah!\u00a0 I gotta rid the entire backyard of rabbits, Mum!\u00a0 Lemmeout, lemmeout!!\u00a0 I\u2019m playing the role of St. Paddy with the rabbits, dontchyaknow?!\u00a0 Drivin\u2019 \u2018em out o\u2019 the land!\u00a0 Lemmeout, lemmeout!!\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But on most days the dog\u2019s voice is startlingly close to Lenny\u2019s voice.\u00a0 When he\u2019s asking George about the rabbits.\u00a0 For the umpteenth time, \u201cTell me about the rabbits, George.<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

My daughter on the other hand just makes the dog sound like a lispy four-year-old.\u00a0 Cute, but not fully capable.\u00a0 Of anything.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>And my son?\u00a0 My son doesn\u2019t necessarily have a \u201cvoice\u201d for the dog.\u00a0 He just refers to him as:\u00a0The Dog Who Will One Day Forge the Bacon Sword.\u00a0\u00a0Which is\u00a0a whole thing I can\u2019t get into now.\u00a0 Let\u2019s just suffice to say that bacon is the dog\u2019s destiny.\u00a0 He LOVES bacon.\u00a0 Case in point?\u00a0 For the time it\u2019s taken me to write this blog, the dog has been out in the kitchen whining at the last piece of breakfast bacon.\u00a0 I\u2019ve included a picture for your viewing pleasure.\u00a0 See the bacon?\u00a0 On that plate shoved waaaaaaaaay in the back?!?\u00a0 Yeah.\u00a0 He wants it.\u00a0 That\u2019s the one he loves<\/em>.\u00a0 That\u2019s the one he gots<\/em> ta have.\u00a0 He loves bacon!\u00a0 Tell me about the bacon, George.\u00a0 Baconbaconbacon!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

And, three.\u00a0 Now we\u2019re up to three voices.\u00a0 The third one is the voice of the dog in that bacon commercial; Where all it says is, \u201cBaconbaconbacon!!!\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yeah.\u00a0 Three voices are way better than two any day, right?\u00a0 Go big or go home.\u00a0 And once you\u2019re home\u2026get some bacon.\u00a0 Baconbaconbacon!\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And now that we\u2019re home getting some bacon, that reminds me: Hatee-hatee-hatee-ho!\u00a0 Hatee-hatee-hatee-ho!\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
