{"id":2318,"date":"2013-12-16T15:49:16","date_gmt":"2013-12-16T22:49:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newstayathomemom.com\/?p=2318"},"modified":"2013-12-16T15:49:16","modified_gmt":"2013-12-16T22:49:16","slug":"grody-to-the-max","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newstayathomemom.com\/?p=2318","title":{"rendered":"Grody to the max!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Remember that\u00a0phrase from the 80&#8217;s:\u00a0<em>Grody to the max!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Well I think I\u00a0should bring it back.\u00a0 Starting now.\u00a0 About what I found in my sandwich.\u00a0 From a sandwich place that shall remain nameless.\u00a0 But which apparently gets its ingredients off the floor of a\u00a0New York City subway station.<\/p>\n<p>Originally I thought it was a pre-born baby bird all burnt up and cooked into my bread.\u00a0 [<em>Seriously!\u00a0 It looked like it had FEATHERS<\/em>!!!\u00a0 <em>And it was baked INTO my bread<\/em>.]\u00a0\u00a0But when I returned it, the sandwich shop people insisted it was a piece of plastic.<\/p>\n<p>Either way, there&#8217;s a problem with the system that allows burnt plastic\/feathers\/baby birds IN bread\u00a0to escape the notice of the guy CUTTING the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">bread<\/span>, the girl\u00a0PUTTING food onto the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">bread<\/span> and the other girl\u00a0WRAPPING the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">bread<\/span>.\u00a0 Really?\u00a0 REALLY?!?\u00a0\u00a0NO ONE\u00a0noticed the crap erupting from the bread\u00a0except for me?!\u00a0 The FOURTH person in the process &#8211; who was looking forward to EATING the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">bread<\/span>??<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Cause you better believe I noticed it.\u00a0 I opened the wrapper and noticed it.\u00a0 Right.\u00a0 There.\u00a0\u00a0Right&#8230;THERE!\u00a0\u00a0 Perched like a cluster of\u00a0burnt feathers (and I have to admit that there was one heart-stopping second where I even thought it was a massive spider)\u00a0right on the TOP of my sandwich!!!<\/p>\n<p>Ugh.<\/p>\n<p>And this&#8230;is EXACTLY why they invented the phrase: <em>Grody to the max!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Also?\u00a0 Gag me with a spoon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/newstayathomemom.com\/?attachment_id=2319\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2319\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2319\" title=\"Grody\" src=\"http:\/\/newstayathomemom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Grody.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newstayathomemom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Grody.jpg 320w, https:\/\/newstayathomemom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Grody-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Remember that\u00a0phrase from the 80&#8217;s:\u00a0Grody to the max!\u00a0 Well I think I\u00a0should bring it back.\u00a0 Starting now.\u00a0 About what I found in my sandwich.\u00a0 From a sandwich place that shall remain nameless.\u00a0 But which apparently gets its ingredients off the floor of a\u00a0New York City subway station.
