But Nude Pics Gate reminds me of all of the fun I used to have at work.\u00a0 Back when I had a job.\u00a0 (No, I don\u2019t have another one yet, but thanks for bringing it up stink eye stink eye<\/em>.)<\/p>\n Wait\u2026what?!?\u00a0 Nude Pics Gate reminds me of work?\u00a0 How so, exactly??<\/p>\n Don\u2019t worry, don\u2019t worry.\u00a0 No nude pics were sent.\u00a0 EVER.\u00a0 But there was porn\u2026on purpose.<\/p>\n At this point my mother is having an absolute apoplectic fit.\u00a0 Can\u2019t you just feel the waves of disapproval coming all the way from Virginia?!?\u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Settle down, Sparky.\u00a0 Read on.<\/p>\n Back when I had a job (again, no – not YET\u2026STINK EYE, STINK EYE<\/em>) I used to work with a bunch of software developers, computer geeks and computer-geeks-turned-software-salesmen.\u00a0 These were the guys wearing Birkenstocks, gym shorts and ratty t-shirts to work,\u00a0playing Golf Frisbee on the \u201cquad\u201d at lunch, throwing sharpened pencils into the ceiling tiles at midnight.\u00a0\u00a0Periodically,\u00a0their geeky hi-jinx infiltrated the entire\u00a0office.\u00a0 For example, one of them had a Nerf machine gun, and whenever they heard someone coming around the corner of their office, they would unload a round of Nerf suction cup pellets on their visitor.\u00a0 Or one of them might get the brilliant idea to \u2018penny\u2019 co-workers into their office.\u00a0 Hardy-har-har, right?<\/p>\n Well, it may or may not have been after the penny-ing.\u00a0 And I may or may not have been one of the coworkers penny\u2019d into her office, when I enlisted the help of tech support to send the penny-er an \u2018innocuous\u2019 email FROM tech support.<\/p>\n When the penny-er opened the email about important computer upgrades, there was a script that ran in the background which turned the computer volume all-the-way-up and a voice blasted out, \u201cHey Everyone!\u00a0 I\u2019m lookin\u2019 at PORN over here!!!\u201d followed by maniacal laughter.<\/p>\n Like meerkats, the other co-workers\u00a0popped their heads up and poked their noses out of their office in the direction of the \u2018porn watcher\u2019 who appeared sheepishly from around the corner, laughing.\u00a0 The tips of his sticky-out ears were very, very red.<\/p>\n After Red Ears made a general announcement of, \u201cYou got me!\u201d directed to no one in particular, everyone disappeared back into their offices.\u00a0 Then, from up and down the hallway you heard\u2026Hey!…Hey Everyone!….Hey!…Hey!….I\u2019m lookin\u2019 at PORN over here!!!…Hey!…HA, HA, HA…<\/em><\/p>\n Of course, it wasn\u2019t REALLY porn.\u00a0 Just a loud voice SHOUTING about porn.\u00a0 Yes, there\u2019s a difference.\u00a0 \u00a0And I never DID get that email forwarded to me, but\u00a0I never DID get penny-d into my office again.<\/p>\n Not that I HAVE an office anymore, but thanks for bringing it up.\u00a0 Stink eye, stink eye.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Did you hear about that university teaching assistant who meant to email her students the answer to a math problem?\u00a0 Instead, she accidentally sent nude pictures of herself.
