Guilt attack today!<\/p>\n
My poor husband works hard for his (our) money.\u00a0 He travels constantly for work.\u00a0 And somewhere along the way, he jacked up his back.\u00a0 He walks like a stooped, old man now.<\/p>\n
I couldn’t take it anymore so I made an appointment with my chiropractor\u00a0for him today.<\/p>\n
I guess this is what I do now –\u00a0I don’t actually make the money, I just make the appointments.\u00a0\u00a0 Well, and I make the cookies too!\u00a0 And when I’m not doing all of that scintillating, value-add stuff…I go running (and when I say running, I mean jogging.\u00a0 Home Mom just trying to keep it real – what’up what’up!!\u00a0 But the jogging is\u00a0where my need for a chiropractor stems from fyi).<\/p>\n
Before my husband\u00a0left for the appointment, I was kind enough to warn him about the underwear issue!<\/p>\n
He wanted to know why, WHY the chiropractor would ever<\/em>\u00a0see his underwear!!\u00a0 What kind of chiropractor is this anyway?!<\/p>\n So I explained that I thought his back problems\u00a0might be stemming from\u00a0a sciatica nerve issue and if that was indeed the case, then the chiropractor would want to do some muscle stimulation on his bongo drums.\u00a0 While attaching the electrodes to his back and his bongos, the chiropractor would see his underwear.<\/p>\n I was just trying to help!\u00a0\u00a0No one told me anything about the possibility of this\u00a0happening when I saw the chiro for the first time, and I wish they had because I wore some serious granny panties.\u00a0\u00a0That may have been left over from my maternity wardrobe.\u00a0\u00a0Eight\u00a0years ago!\u00a0 Washed out, faded “nude” underwear is never flattering.\u00a0 Ever.<\/p>\n But then when I had to go BACK for more follow up visits, I was kindof\u00a0“stuck” wearing granny panties because it’s not like I could switch mid-stream to something…er…more “youthful” shall we say.\u00a0 Because then the chiro would wonder what was up.\u00a0\u00a0All of a sudden I make an about face and start wearing brightly colored\u00a0underwear with lace?\u00a0 I don’t think so.\u00a0 I didn’t want the doctor to question my professionalism.<\/p>\n So,\u00a0fair warning!\u00a0 Just like mom said – always put on clean (cute, youthful, brightly-colored, maybe with some lace) underwear.\u00a0 Just in case…<\/p>\n And ESPECIALLY when you go to see the chiropractor!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Guilt attack today!
