Let’s review:<\/p>\n

No, I don’t have a job yet.\u00a0 But thanks for bringing it up!\u00a0 [stink eye, stink eye<\/em><\/a>]\u00a0 And?\u00a0 And now prospective employers are\u00a0making me take personality tests before they’ll\u00a0even talk to me.\u00a0 Should I be\u00a0worried about that?!\u00a0\u00a0Uhm – I don’t THINK so.\u00a0 But we’ll let you be the judge.<\/p>\n

Here’s how my\u00a0last round of testing went…<\/p>\n

I receive a friendly little email from the recruiter indicating\u00a0it’s their company’s standard practice to see how insane and\/or stupid candidates are before they’ll even talk to them.\u00a0\u00a0Which means that this will actually be TWO tests – one for insanity and one for stupidity.<\/p>\n

The first test?\u00a0\u00a0Some sort of “mental health” test which quickly becomes a road to Hell\u00a0that messes with my\u00a0mind and tricks me into\u00a0revealing how completely off-my-rocker I really am.\u00a0\u00a0But they’re kind enough to\u00a0give me\u00a0a list of possible answers to all the questions up front.\u00a0 These\u00a0I\u00a0furiously write down in case they don’t provide the answers anywhere else in the test and this is in fact PART of the test to test my\u00a0preparedness to\u00a0TAKE the test.\u00a0 (1.Always true, 2.Mostly true, 3.Sometimes true\/sometimes false, 4.Mostly false, 5.Always\u00a0false.)\u00a0\u00a0But this test\u00a0isn’t timed (phew<\/em>!), so I\u00a0can take the SLOW ROAD\u00a0to Hell if I\u00a0want.<\/p>\n

The questions go something like this:<\/p>\n
