I have three party tricks\u00a0I’m very\u00a0proud of.\u00a0 In fact I fantasize that I might meet the Queen of England\u00a0at an after-hours party and she asks me to perform one of these tricks and when I do she knight’s me on the spot\u00a0(“dame’s me” sounds STUPID!\u00a0 Women get ripped off constantly).\u00a0\u00a0Or she has some of her footmen\u00a0carry me around on their shoulders and buy me\u00a0drinks after which she\u00a0invites me to the Riviera to join her\u00a0on her\u00a0yacht.<\/p>\n
In case something like that happens, I’m ready with the following:<\/p>\n
1) being able to tie a\u00a0maraschino cherry stem into a knot with my tongue<\/p>\n
2) saying the entire\u00a0Greek alphabet before\u00a0the lit match I’m holding burns all the way down to my fingers and<\/p>\n
3) being able to SAY all fifty United States in alphabetical order.\u00a0 When I was in grade school, our music teacher taught us a song\u00a0called, “Fifty Nifty United States.”\u00a0 As part of the song, you sing all fifty states – in alphabetical order.\u00a0 So yes, when I put my mind to it, I can SAY all fifty states in alphabetical order.<\/p>\n
But in honor of America’s birthday…who wants to say it??\u00a0\u00a0SING IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT!<\/p>\n
