With the hubby and kids OOT* today, I was able to get a TON of stuff accomplished.\u00a0\u00a0Me like-y getting tons of stuff accomplished.<\/p>\n
You know what else me like-y?\u00a0 Me like-y Home Depot.<\/p>\n
Back when they were the only game in town and I called them Home Despot, me no like-y.\u00a0 But now?\u00a0\u00a0Now that they have competition from the likes of Lowe’s and Ace?\u00a0\u00a0Now it’s on like Donkey Kong every time I walk in there.\u00a0 All the fine fellas flock to me to offer assistance (AND they call me “miss.”\u00a0 None of this “ma’am” b.s. that makes you feel older than time).\u00a0 Me also like-y the delusional story I tell myself when I’m IN\u00a0Home Depot.\u00a0 Which is: the fine fellas don’t get many PYT** DIY’ers*** and therefore when there is one there (me!) they are\u00a0ON IT!\u00a0 In fact, me like-y that story so much that\u00a0I think\u00a0Home Depot would be a great place to find a hubby if I didn’t already have one.\u00a0 Speaking of which…me like-y YOU,\u00a0Hubby!<\/p>\n
Me also like-y Grease Monkey.\u00a0 Where\u00a0else in the WORLD will men clean your windows, vacuum your rugs AND leave a carnation on your dashboard?!?\u00a0\u00a0Nowhere except Grease Monkey.\u00a0\u00a0That’s why me really, really like-y.<\/p>\n
And when the day is done, and it’s\u00a0pizza carry-out for one (me like-y rhymes too!),\u00a0me like-y Anthony’s Pizza because it tastes\u00a0just like every slice of pie**** I ever ate during\u00a0my misspent New Jersey youth.\u00a0 AND?\u00a0 The\u00a0counterhelp offers me red pepper flakes in a cute little container that I can re-use for jello shots.\u00a0 What’s not to like-y there??<\/p>\n
Finally, me like-y the\u00a0helpful neighbor men who sit in the garage across\u00a0the street drinking beers.\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0first time I saw them doing that, I asked if they were waiting for the party bus.\u00a0 The second time I saw them, I\u00a0told them I didn’t think the party\u00a0bus came by this way.\u00a0 The THIRD time I saw them, they informed me that they\u00a0WERE the party bus.\u00a0 Oh.\u00a0 Ok.\u00a0 Glad we got that straight.\u00a0 And recently?\u00a0 Recently\u00a0they\u00a0pumped up my bike tires.\u00a0 AND pumped up my ego by claiming that sometimes bike tires just get low;\u00a0It’s not that they LOOK\u00a0low due to the biker “load” they’re carrying.\u00a0\u00a0Me like-y gallant gents who don’t breathe a WORD about your weight when they’re pumping up your bike tires with their deluxe pneumatic bike tire pumper thingamajig.<\/p>\n
