Now it’s become something of a family joke.\u00a0 When we want to convey\u00a0something BIG, we say it was sixtyeightytwenty.<\/p>\n
And you know what?\u00a0 I just had New Experience Number Sixtyeightytwenty of my Stay at Home Momness.\u00a0\u00a0(Now that you’re in on the joke too, do you see how it works?\u00a0\u00a0I’m implying that there have been a LOT of new experiences since I’ve become a New Stay at Home Mom.\u00a0 This\u00a0sixtyeightytwenty thing is\u00a0fun, isn’t it?\u00a0 Welcome to the family!!)<\/p>\n
My daughter’s softball team won their division championship Sunday afternoon.\u00a0 And during the impromptu pizza party afterwards, they cooked up a scheme for an impromptu sleepover.\u00a0 At my house.\u00a0 For the whole team.\u00a0 On a Sunday night.<\/p>\n
Working Mom Me would have said, “No way!\u00a0\u00a0End of discussion.\u00a0 I have to work tomorrow.”<\/p>\n
New Stay at Home Mom (Frickin’ Moron) Me said, “Well…I suppose.\u00a0 As long as you go to bed at a reasonable hour.”<\/p>\n
Well…here we\u00a0are on Monday.\u00a0 Exhausted.\u00a0 Since no one (NO ONE) went to bed before 2:30 a.m.\u00a0\u00a0I\u00a0hate all twelve\u00a0girls on the softball team (well, except for the two or three who have REASONABLE mothers who don’t let them\u00a0do sleepovers on a Sunday night) and I…HATE SLEEPOVERS!<\/p>\n
Surprise, surprise.<\/p>\n
Makes me want to get a job just so I never, EVER, offer up my house again on a Sunday night for the softball championship team sleepover.<\/p>\n
