{"id":1461,"date":"2013-06-13T09:42:31","date_gmt":"2013-06-13T15:42:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newstayathomemom.com\/?p=1461"},"modified":"2013-06-13T10:52:26","modified_gmt":"2013-06-13T16:52:26","slug":"costco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newstayathomemom.com\/?p=1461","title":{"rendered":"Costco"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>I have voted Costco the store &#8220;most likely to have the most\u00a0useless crap I don&#8217;t need, yet which I buy anyway.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Who&#8217;s with me on this??<\/p>\n<p>I mean, you go in for laundry detergent, paper towels,\u00a0and maybe some bananas (but only if they&#8217;re mostly yellow &#8211; it&#8217;s too annoying to WAIT for completely green bananas to turn yellow and then, once they do,\u00a0have to quickly gobble up 10 of them in two days).<\/p>\n<p>And you come out one-hundred-fifty dollars poorer with high-end face lotion (that will finally, FINALLY make you look younger!), a dozen frozen steak-and-cheese burritos (which the kids LOVED during sample time, but which they will decide they don&#8217;t like AT ALL\u00a0after you make the first one at home.\u00a0 And then the burritos will sit in the freezer for two years until they&#8217;re all frost-bitten and expired,\u00a0at which point you throw out 11 of them) and two boxes (8 in each box) of solar garden lights because they were $10 off!<\/p>\n<p>But not this time Costco.\u00a0 Oooohhh noooooo.\u00a0 Not this time.<\/p>\n<p>During yesterday&#8217;s trip &#8211; I came, I saw, and I conquered.\u00a0 I ONLY bought what was on my list.\u00a0\u00a0 Along with\u00a0an under-$10-lunch\u00a0for the kiddos and me.<\/p>\n<p>And there may have been ONE unexpected side purchase for $29.99, but in the long run it will save me money.\u00a0 In fact, it will save me so much money I&#8217;m now calling it &#8220;my master plan&#8221; and I&#8217;ve been patting myself on the back ever since because the whole thing is brilliant!\u00a0 BRILLIANT!\u00a0\u00a0If I do say so myself.<\/p>\n<p>What could it possibly be??<\/p>\n<p>A Wahl <em>Deluxe<\/em> Complete Haircutting Kit.\u00a0 And while &#8220;deluxe&#8221; and &#8220;complete&#8221; seem a little over the top slash redundant, I&#8217;m totally\u00a0psyched I got it so inexpensively!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m gonna use it on Sonny, whose\u00a0hair grows like a weed and is the bushiest thing you ever saw and which needs to be trimmed every 4 weeks otherwise it resembles really nasty\u00a0dolly hair.<\/p>\n<p>And?\u00a0 AND??\u00a0 (<em>this is where the\u00a0&#8220;master plan&#8221; from a Number 1 (1\/8 inch) all the way up to a Number 8 (1 inch)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And in addition to the eight guide combs, I also get a\u00a0left ear taper and a right ear taper.\u00a0 I think\u00a0tapers mean\u00a0candles.\u00a0 But what candles have to do with left and right ears I&#8217;m not 100% sure.\u00a0 Unless we&#8217;re now branching out into those ear candles?\u00a0 Have you seen those??\u00a0 They &#8220;eliminate&#8221;
