Hi and welcome to my blog!<\/p>\n
After being in the workforce for 20 years, in 2012 I suddenly found myself out of a job. My kids were 8 and 10 at the time and so I became a new stay at home mom (.com).\u00a0 Not a\u00a0new mother, mind you, just new to staying at home with my kids.<\/p>\n
When I was\u00a0a working mother, I always wondered what stay at home moms did all day. Then I suddenly became one of \u201cthem\u201d and\u00a0started this blog as a way to unravel the mystery.\u00a0 I\u2019ve since found and lost jobs again, but I keep the blog going.\u00a0 It\u2019s a creative outlet and enjoyable pastime for me.\u00a0 And it offers witty insights and a laugh or two for you.<\/p>\n
But it\u2019s not all about you. Back to me\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n Now my kids are teenagers and in highschool. The struggle is real, people!\u00a0 So I use this blog as a way to unravel a DIFFERENT mystery: the mystery of the American teenager.<\/p>\n Hold on to your hats, folks. The ride gets pretty wild\u2026and pretty funny.\u00a0 So, again,\u00a0welcome.\u00a0 Please enjoy.<\/p>\n PS – my daughter and son\u00a0have really great names, but for the purposes of this blog, I refer to them as Sissy and Sonny (respectively).\u00a0 I felt the need to explain so you didn’t think I was a TOTAL\u00a0weirdo and really\u00a0named my kids Sissy and Sonny.\u00a0 Also, I feel it’s important to protect the guilty, so there’s that too!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hi and welcome to my blog!
